Where have I been?! Even I’m asking this question. The past ten weeks have been a whirlwind ever since I was accepted into the Goldman Sachs 10KSB program! A few years ago, I joined their free session at Laguardia Community College to learn more about how to grow my business after Business Services Director, Paisley Demby, introduced me to the program. I was immediately hooked, but found that my company did not meet the requirements. Fast forward to 2021 and I am now a proud and excited member of the 33rd Cohort of GS10KSB!
The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program is a $500 million investment to help entrepreneurs grow and create jobs and economic opportunities by providing greater access to education, financial capital, and business support services.
Over the past 15 years, small businesses have generated 64 percent of net new jobs and represent 99.7 percent of all employer firms. The program is designed to tap into that economic power by providing entrepreneurs across the country with resources to grow and create jobs.
