2013 Recap

MARCH

KGI Supports The NJRSA!
We once again supported the New Jersey Rett Syndrome Association by helping develop, design, and produce invitations for its annual fundraiser. The 21st Annual NJ Silent Angels Gala was held on March 9 at the Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, NJ.

KGI has been a volunteer for Rett Syndrome Awareness since 1994, and will continue to be indefinitely. Please visit njrsa.org for more information about Rett Syndrome and the NJRSA.

KGI Raises Funds for Pediatric Cancer Research!
Again, we were involved in both donations and emceeing the annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation event. We honored Shannon Serkes, a local young woman who was battling cancer. The event was held on March 10 at Jackie Reilly’s, 3964 Hempstead Turnpike, Bethpage, NY. Please visit stbaldricks.org to find out more about the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and how to donate.

SEPTEMBER

KGI Rides Again for Multiple Sclerosis Research!
Our owner Kim Poulos-Lieberz rode in Bike MS New York City for the sixth consecutive year to raise funds for multiple sclerosis research. For more information, to donate, or to join in next year’s ride, fill out the form on our contact page or visit nationalmssociety.org.

OCTOBER

KGI Supports Rett Syndrome Awareness Month!
The month of October is Rett Syndrome Awareness Month. In support, we donated t-shirt designs to the New Jersey Rett Syndrome Association for its annual Strollathon. This fun-filled family event led by local volunteers raises crucial research dollars and public awareness of Rett syndrome (RTT) in communities across the country.
